AFL Rising Star's hilarious acceptance speech - and which Geelong superstar put him up to it
Geelong livewire Ollie Dempsey has capped his breakout season by claiming the AFL Rising Star award - and delivered a cheeky speech in the process. The award for the AFL's best rising talent featured plenty of Steve Bradbury moment's this season as contenders dropped like flies because of suspensions. Early favourites Harley Reid and Sam Darcy were ruled ineligible through suspension leading to calls for eligibility rules to be changed.
