The lucky man looked unfazed as the high-speed vehicle left the ground and smashed into a metal fence barrier which he had been standing behind. The impact sent the structure, which had a concrete support, toppling over and broke the car into a number of pieces, as the main body of the motor skimmed over the marshal's head and eventually made a return to the ground.
